CAPTAINS MATCH REPORT BY THOMAS STRACHAN

We just played a hard game of rugby against a bigger club, in more ways than one, which unfortunately we lost 40 points to 20. It was definitely a game of two half’s . In the first half we gave too much space and time for their big lads to run at us, and we didn’t tackle low enough. In the second half we moved up faster and didn’t give those lads as much chance to run at us. This resulted in us scoring 2 great tries from Ben and moving the ball out to our wingers, Rob and Redd, who scored a great trie each. If we had played like this from the start it could have easily been a different result. Overall I think everyone performed really well and we played some great rugby in parts. Well done lads and I’ll see you all on Thursday.
