Casuals secured a deserved victory in an entertaining encounter at Lady Bay, Nottingham. Both teams played some excellent rugby, but Casuals gained the upper hand through fantastic tackling and ruthless finishing.

Ollie hunted down the opposition with a relentless defensive display, combining his tackling with some powerful running to score three tries. Hugo showed all his pace and power to cross for four, but this was a performance built on contributions from the whole team.

Man of the Match George capped an excellent game with an interception try, while Taio rounded off a strong performance with powerful running and a well-earned try of his own.

Corsairs fought back in the second half, scoring three tries and showing real strength, particularly through their centres. Their determination helped make this a great contest from start to finish.

Played in what might have been the last warm, sunny afternoon before the colder weather sets in, it was another game to enjoy and a performance for Casuals to be proud of.

Next Sunday brings our first outing in the NLD Cup and the chance to test ourselves against new opposition in Spalding.

Well done to everyone who played today. Bring on the Cup!
