To start with the obvious negative our captain Ed was sadly helped of the field after a nasty collision unfortunately the injury was bad but thankfully it was not a serious as we first thought we all wish him a speedy recovery. Today we came short of the result we would have wanted I think this was mainly comes though our confusion around the ruck and hesitation to get involved in the ruck. I think another major part of today was the lack of line speed defensively however a HUGE positive was Josephs try this showed our true ability of fast ball, support and forwards and backs coming together. Would like to mention 2 newer players Amani and Mohammed I think both had great overall games. Ben as usual had a very good game showing his strength and determination this also shows for Joseph who also scored a wonderful try. Well done to James Simpson as-well for his wonderful interception which led to another try . All in all we can take many positives from today’s game and many learning points too. Well done to all the lads that played in the development team today as well lovely to see all the lads learning and enjoying them selves for many of them it was their first game so well done. Well done to all lads and bring on Belper . See you all on Thursday and hopefully see Ed as-well.
