'We made some clever plays'

Sleaford 43 Nottingham Casuals 17- Match report by Jesse

First big away day today lads thank you all for making the effort. I
think we can all agree that Sleaford are a big bunch of well drilled
lads. We didn’t start the match off great however we did end it very
well. Great attitude from everyone today for not giving up. It’s not
easy to keep going after going down 3 tries in the first half but the
second half was fantastic, we all came together as a team and played
some great rugby. Adding on to that, I think almost everything went
well we had some great defence and some even better attacking.
Everyone one did their bit in that match, and I don’t think the score
line reflected how we played. I just wanted to thank all the coaches
for sorting out everything to get this all together I know it wasn’t
easy.
Well done all Jesse

BOSTON RFC 17 CASUALS 26 - Match report by Maxwell

Great game lads everyone played amazing today, very good carries from the forwards and great passing along the wing backs. Special mention to Tommy, for me personally ,played outstanding with it being his first game for us and really showed his ability on the pitch today. In the first game we started of a bit stiff and we missed some tackles but it happens to the best of us and in that situation u just keep your head up and go harder next time which is what we did, with us turning the game on it’s head and winning the second half. Second game was outstanding we hit every ruck and we were a lot more focused. We made some clever plays getting us forward and our carrying was brilliant gaining a lot of yards. Scrums were very good strong pushes and we didn’t collapse the scrums as much today so very very good. One thing we could work on for future games is when we shout hammer hammer hammer up as Miles said there’s no point in shouting that if your not going to actually hit any one. Also when we do shout hammer hammer hammer up we need to go up as a team because we won’t leave any gaps and were more intimidating. Overall we played amazing today everyone one of you so give your self a pat on the back and see everyone next week. Thank you to all the coaches!
