CAPTAINS MATCH REPORT BY JOSEPH

Today our fixture takes us on an away trip to Mansfield for a cup clash. Our defence started off well and we had a lot of possession but we didn't manage to find many gaps to play through. We didn't use the width, however the hammer line was strong. We played very physically against a big, strong team. After the break, we responded quickly with a brilliant try from Jesse. We had many opportunities and there has been a lot of improvement in the team. Sam worked very hard throughout the match but unfortunately his try was held up. There are a few areas we need to work on but overall, everyone gave 110% and the score line does not reflect our performance.
