This was a great advert for rugby,two sides with minimum numbers mixed for a 20 minute training session before playing a thrilling game of 15 a side rugby.
Kaden R started with a great powerful try in the first few minutes and the whites got off to a great start ,through some excellent direct running from Sam B the greens hit back to level up the scoring. Many players shone from both sides and Bill P had an excellent line out leaping like a salmon!
Captain Jack B added another for whites just before half time.
Both sets of forwards swapped at half time and the whites pulled away with the man of the match Ben B scoring 2 great solo tries to his name and Kai fininshed off with a try of his own under the posts with a powerful carry over.
All in all heart beats eternal for both sets of lads where whom we will now form an alliance with and increase our teams numbers to a strong 25 man squad and hopefully we can have a great cup run as a combined team.
If there were a TREDS tie everyone of the players on the pitch would have been awarded one discipline and sportsmanship were second to none.
Onwards and upwards for these lads.
