Our match on Sunday saw a fantastic performance against Dragons despite the difficult conditions with an amazing try from Eleanor within the first 5 minutes proving our strength in attack. We then prevented Dragons from scoring for another 20 minutes showing our defensive line worked effectively. Despite letting a few of tackles slip our line was very strong with Emily defending two pick and goes within inches of the try line spectacularly and Faye making some try-saving tackles on the wing. Lottie also made her return with some insane runs, holding up a try and an incredible tap tackle.

Even though we did not have a full side we still managed to have a fairly structured game fitting in a boot move and using our pods effectively. Camille won player of the match from Dragons for her strong running and basically being all over the pitch whilst Eleanor won our player of the match for her incredible tackles. Lilian also proved her skill with several runs that broke contact immediately.

The score definitely did not reflect our performance considering our much-improved ruck speed which won numerous penalties from our jackling and several turnovers.
