The game started off with Casuals taking an early lead with Aggie and Amayah storming through the defence and each scoring three tries Long Eaton were not an easy opposition though with some great runs. However, with some amazing tackling by Hope, Casuals finished the period 6-3 up.

Casuals started the second period strong but with no subs at all it was starting to wear them all down and Long Eaton made sure they capitalized on Casuals mistakes. But with Chloe and Ezmay showing some quality passing and great defending as a team, Casuals regrouped and scored some tries in quick succession with Amayah and Izzy both putting two on the scoreboard making the second period end level at 4-4

The last period started off with both teams’ showing high intensity but with the lack of energy from Casuals, Long Eaton managed to score three tries in quick succession. However, with some excellent decision making and passing out of tight spaces from Ellie, Casuals managed to make it level at 3-3 with a great try from Chloe and two bulldozing runs from Aggie. The last bits of play saw Casuals scoring two tries with some skillful runs from Amayah and Long Eaton scoring two tries from using the wings to their advantage and the last period ended 5-5

At the end of the day both Casuals and Long Eaton put in a good shift, with the score ending 15-12 to Casuals and a special mention to the player of the match nominated by Long Eaton coaches, Aggie, and TREDS player of the week for showing some excellent commitment Chloe.
