Casuals produced dominant performances with two teams displaying dazzling attacking abilities and solid tackling. Four games produced lots tries and tackles.
Highlights today were Oliver running the length of the pitch, evading tackles and sliding through any gap he could see to score a try; and Jhett powering through the Corsairs defensive line brushing aside tackles to set up a score.
The final act of the game was a demonstration of the fabulous Corsair's attack and the feisty Casuals defence. 20 phases with Corsairs going forward and then being pushed back over half way left the Casuals exhausted and opened up a gap for Corsairs to score the final try. The final try was scored by Owen, who displayed great sportsmanship by volunteering to swap sides for the day and become a Corsairs player to even teams up. This, along with the wonderful final try of the day, earned Owen the player of the week.
