The Casuals U10s had a fantastic start to their season this morning with a very competitive 8-9 victory away to Bingham.

Through various alternative commitments, Casuals were only able to field 8 players, so no subs and a very first game which included competitive 1 v 1 rucks! The Casuals played so well as a team and really supported each other.

Casuals went two tries down early in the first half, but fought back to lead by two at half time. Even though we tired in the second half we kept on fighting and ended up winning by one!

The team today was Isaac, Aggie, Bryce, George, Oliver, Nico, Jonah and Jacob, and the coaches are really proud of them! They all made some big tackles, the most memorable being Jacob chasing down a huge Bingham attacked 2 metres from the try line.

A special mention to Bryce, our TREDS player of the week, and Oliver who both had knocks, but continued to play as they didnt want to leave their team shorthanded.
