The 1sts lost to Paviors 2nds in a friendly, but injuries sustained may be significant to Casuals.
Casuals took the field wih a much changed side from the previous week, but it should have been good enough to have cruised to a win.
Credit to Paviors, who after a rocky start, played a fast game, keeping the ball alive, and showed what good support and simple passing can achieve.
Casuals dominated for the first 25 minutes, camping in Pavs half, but were unable to make their superiority tell.
When the vistors finally escaped, they took play right upfield, and came away with an unconverted try.
At this point Casuals lost Lewis Brown with an ankle injury. Whilst he was being attended to, the game moved to the next pitch
When play resumed back on the main pitch, after half time,it was Paviors who settled the outcome with a second try, to take the spoils.
Unfortunately Casuals sustained 2 more injuries, hopefully though they may not prove too serious.
