Bonus point on 30 mins to casuals, in their 9 try fest Buxton battle all the way, but unable to disrupt Casuals progression

Casuals win by 9 tries to 4, both sides earning a try bonus point. 19 out 19, with 17 bonus points, making 93 league points, with 3 games to go.
Credit to Buxton for their determination in giving Casuals a few jittery moments, but they never looked like causing an upset. Casuals picked up a few injuries, but once again there are players due to return to help in the run in.
Not forgetting players who made the trip to help out, Messrs Barton and Alexiou, neither having played in the 1sts for some time, Carl Norman coming in late, as front row sub, and James Thorne backs sub.
Thanks guys

Buxton 26 Casuals 57 (59)

Casuals travelled to Buxton F.C. to play on a 4G pitch, something which they had not experienced before, but it worked in their favour, as the 9 try haul would suggest.
Bringing in a host of 2nd teamers to bolster up the side, did nothing to diminish their game.
It took just 2 minutes for Kristianas Jakuba to open the scoring for Casuals.
O’Kane kicked ahead, only for the Buxton full back to clear back upfield to Mark Higgins, who flicked a pass out to Jakuba, and he went on a weaving run from inside Casuals half, stopping and starting before finally bursting away to touch down. Higgins added the conversion 0 - 7
15 minutes and Kieran Maisonnet then added to his growing tally, for Casuals second, as he burst through in midfield, covering 30 metres at a gallop, Higgins again converted 0 -14
Just minutes later centre Wood put Niall O’Kane away, and left the Buxton backs for dead, as he used his speed to whip round the defence for the third touchdown, with Higgins again converting .
Casuals continued to press, and when Dan O’Connor was sent away from the ½ way line, he went in under the posts (courtesy of the lovely yellow boots borrowed from Higgins, when his fell apart)
Higgins converted to make it 28 – 0, and another bonus point was in the bag.
O’Connor got his brace on the ½ hour when Casuals drove a maul from a lineout, and a simple slick move put him through, unfortunately no conversion, but Casuals up to 33 points.
Casuals were really motoring by now, and when Maisonnet went in for his second on 33 minutes, followed by another Higgins conversion, Casuals led by 40 points.
However Casuals line up had changed as they had first lost prop Amaury Montarnal with an elbow injury, followed by Clement Chardin, bringing on Carl Norman at prop, and Joe Barton into the forwards.
This seemed to fire up Buxton, and they crossed for converted tries at 37 and 40 minutes.
½ time 14 – 40
Fortunately Casuals got back on track in the 2nd half, with O’Connor turned provider, sending Jakuba in for his 2nd try 14 -45 (not converted)
Higgins then added another on 21 minutes. He touched down under the posts, adding the conversion to make it 14 -52
Buxton hit back with their 3rd try as Casuals were put under pressure 19 -52.
Captain Stu Williams was then given a 10 minute rest by the referee.
Casuals then played musical subs. James Thorne went on at scrum half for Higgins, Higgins subsequently swapped with Brodie Howatson, giving both a bit of a rest.
Casuals further increased their lead when a refreshed Higgins went in for his second try, after a midfield offload from a Wood break, which he again converted. 19 - 59
Buxton completed their scoring in the dying moments, with a converted try, earning them a bonus point.
Casuals had by now expended their energy, but had built a huge lead, which was never going to be threatened, the final whistle bringing Casuals a relatively comfortable win, but with Buxton celebrating their bonus point, that their efforts had justifiably earned.

The R.F.U results show a result of 19 -57 as the official score, but the ref somewhere missed a conversion, probably an off the upright score, which he maybe probably didn't see clearly.
