Good spirit from Casuals, but much too generous to their visitors

7 converted tries from Coalville and a penalty against 3 tries and a penalty from Casuals, seems pretty one sided, but it need not have been.
Give Coalville their due, they used the ball well, and their attacks were well constructed with some excellent support work. But the ball catcher running straight through, or simple interpassing from the catch to score suggests that Coalville were far superior.

Coalville had already helped themselves to 3 converted tries, before Casuals scored, and the scores came through very simple use of the ball.
The first try came down the blindside of a maul, Dave Mellor setting up XXXXXXXXX to score in the corner, adding to his previous penalty.

Coalville added a converted try just before 1/2 time 8 - 31 at the turn round.

Casuals put on a bit of pressure after the restart, and when they won a lineout, Christian Scott cut straight through feeding Gareth Austin for a strong run to the line. XXXXXXXX converted.

Coalville were gifted the ball from a poor kick ahead, and with no chasing players, the Coalville right wing caught the ball and ran straight through for another try.
Coalville then pounced on a dropped ball, and without a pause, set up a move to score under the posts.
Casuals managed to rally, and a period of pressure was finally rewarded when they forced a scrum on 5 metres and Steve Naylor used his strength and pace to dive over.

Not to be outdone, Coalville immediately came back , a simple series of interpasses upfield, and unselfishly shipped the ball amongst the supporting players to set up the final try.

Credit to the Coalville place kicker who must have felt very satisfied with his afternoon, not missing a conversion, and adding a penalty to his tally.

Due to , Casuals had to field their current coaches in the forwards, a triumverate of 40 plus year olds, and the grand pappy of them all Mark Hobson, immediate past coach, now in his fifties rushing around in the backs.
All 4 must have been well satisfied with their contributions
